ENGR. BOLA BABARINDE

President

Engineer Babarinde has several decades of experience in Business Development, Construction and Training. Some of his favorite hobbies include writing, reading and volunteering. He is also an ardent lover of soccer. One of his major goals in life is to make a positive impact on humanity and to be an agent to facilitate world improvement.

MR. JIDE KING

Vice President

Mr. Jide King is a consultant/practitioner in occupational safety, health and environment management, facilities management and 5s Housekeeping Methodology Expat. He has several years of experience as a top level manager with various multinational companies. Mr. King is an astute professional who loves discussing leadership, Nigerian Socio Political Evolution and football. He is a lover of smooth jazz.

OSITA DAVID

General Secretary

Barr. Osita David holds LLM in International Trade & Investment Law University Pretoria South Africa (2017) after he was called to bar of Nigerian Law School (2015). He obtained MBA in Management – University of Nigeria Nsukka (2005). He has BSc. in Accountancy – University of Lagos (1994) and PGS in Accountancy – Nigerian College of Accountancy Jos (2007) while his LLB was – Lagos State University (2012). Besides, he got both GCE A/Level and O/Level from C.M S. Grammar School Bariga Lagos and Federal School of Art and Science Victoria Island Lagos (1990) and (1986) respectively.

Having complied with the relevant statutory requirements, Barr Osita David was adjudged bonafide, fit and proper member of the following established professional associations: Nigerian Bar Association (MBA) Ikeja Branch (2015); Fellow, Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (FCNA ) 2015; Fellow Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria ( FCTI) 2015; Associate Nigerian Institute of Freight Forwarders (ANIFF) 2013 Associate Nigerian Institute Of Management (AMNIM 2002)

Besides, Barr Osita David is the Author of “Effectiveness of Transfer Pricing Regulations in Nigerian/ Foreign Direct Investment Drive”. Equally, he was the First Prize Award Winner in the World Health Organisation (WHO/FMH) National Essay Competition: “Healthy Living – everyone a Winner” (1986).

His area of specialisation spans over Law, Financial Management, Taxation and International Trade and Investment.

Traveling, Authorship, Chess and Rotary Club Meetings are some of his hobbies.

He is blessed with three children.

STEVE AROWOLO

Mr. Steve Arowolo is an Agricultural Economist and an alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, University of Fort Hare, South Africa, University of Cape Town and Yale University, U.S.A. Steve is a Fellow (FIAMN) and Vice President (Diaspora) of the Governing Council, Institute of Agribusiness Management, Nigeria. As a public speaker, Steve had been featured on TEDx. As a writer and opinion/thought leader, Steve had written for the UK Guardian and published article for the Yale University’s Center for Environmental Law and Policy, and he featured on both local and international media platforms. Steve is one of the entrepreneurs in Africa recognised by the JP Morgan Small Business Entrepreneurial Development at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS). He served as the Founding President, and National President of the Skilled Foreign Nationals in South Africa (SFONSA); an organization established to leverage the skills of foreign nationals working and residing in South Africa, towards promoting and strengthening local skills and building social cohesion. Steve served as a senior paramilitary officer with the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC). Steve’s current area of business focus is on how Trade and Investments could enhance the sustainable development of Africa in the 21st century and beyond. He has consulted and conducted research relating to how Africa could leverage its human and natural resources in translating trade and investments into prosperity for the continent. Steve is passionate about People, Politics, and the Planet.

YEMI FAGBEMIRO

Engineer Yemi Fagbemiro has more than Fifteen (15) years of engineering practice, during which he has managed a number of projects ranging from conceptual design to commissioning. He is an excellent communicator and well skilled in public relations. He has also written a paper titled “Technological capability: case study of aluminium industry in Nigeria” which was presented at the Africa Innovation Summit II, Kigali Conference Centre, Rwanda, June 2018. He is a member of Nigerian society of engineers and COREN registered
